Why I am not offering Beginner classes at this time

I've changed the class format - I'm now teaching one-on-one so that you get 100% of my attention...Focus on whatever YOU want to work on...Stringer control? Encasing? Dot placement? Whatever you want - its your call... I would like to know your request ahead of time, tho so I can be prepared...If you want ME to create an agenda for you, I can do that too...And if there is something I can't do, I'll let you know - I don't work in Boroscilicate and I don't do figures or scultptural very well (take a Sharon Peters class for that).

You ought to have at least 12 months experience on your torch, are comfortable working on an Oxy/Propane mix torch and can make a basic bead. If you are unsure about signing up, please contact me ahead of time.

Class Specifics

Class size: YOU (one person) - unless you and a friend want to attend. I can take up to two students if you want to attend together.

Class dates: YOUR choice - one, two, three days? Weekend or Weekday? Tell me what works for your schedule and we'll try to work it out...

Cost: $30.00/hr

No child care/pet care/spouse care...sorry...

Meals: Lunch and snacks will be provided.

What I provide: All tools, glass, supplies, fuels, torches, kilns...

What YOU provide: Didymium glasses, notebook (please take notes!) camera (still-pics only, no video), leather apron or thick lap cover (its your lap, protect it as you see fit)...

This is the studio...There is a chili pepper kiln, 2 Minor torches, and OG-15 generator, and all the tools, glass and supplies are provided. I've also just purchased new leather arm rests and they are comfortable!!
