Here and there…

Joe was hiding under my table one day…

Joe came home yesterday and its always with mixed feelings…its good that he’s home with us, but he’s still gone and we miss him.  I wrapped his litterbox in a garbage bag and put it in the garbage bin last night (with his disease, it wasn’t recommended to clean and reuse it).  I scooped up most of his toys too, but kept a couple that we will keep.  He loved his cardboard scratching mat, and its still here with all his claw marks and small bits of cardboard all over it.  plus the rubberbands he played with….and the small sparkly ball he loved…I still have his food bowl in the studio, i haven’t had the heart to remove it yet…

I will be popping in from time to time for updates, but I have a bunch of stuff I need to get done, and will be taking time to do it…Even tho June is awhile away, I need to get started on some packaging options and display setups for the show…better to do it now, than to wait till 2 weeks before I leave.  Plus, I’m not sure what i’m looking for, so I need to do some hunting…

Another brainiac who watches Fox News…Think they are a Glenn Beck fan?

It was 80 here yesterday, the AC dude attended the big machine, as it was making an unsettling humming noise when running…he seemed to adjust it, but last night the noise was back again.  the unit is running, and cooling the house just fine, I only hope the noise doesn’t mean the condenser is going to blow out, since the machine is less than a year old…we’ve replaced 3 a/c units in the past few years, (two in Austin, one out here) and we don’t wanna do another one…sigh…

these are the new socks I want to try – I liked the heel/toe colors, and it looks like a simple enough pattern…plus I have some Sport weight yarn to use, so I need to match the pattern to that gauge…

I finished my second pair of socks last night…I think they are a little too small, I didn’t knit long enough on the foot, but they fit ok, and for as little as I’ll be wearing them (it was 80 yesterday, the socks are going in the back of the drawer), it wont matter…I’m gonna still make more socks, I’ve already got the yarn ready and am hunting a new pattern, and I think I’ve found one. I’m gonna try making the heels and toes in a different color…and I think I wanna cast on more stitches than called for, as my foot isn’t a size 7, so I need more stitches…I’m having fun with it all…

I feel like making beads today, tho…
