1. Here's a funny thing...

I had an FAQ here...with lots and lots of questions (21!) and very good ANSWERS that I'm sure no one read because I kept getting emails asking me the SAME questions I had already posted (and answered) here...Therefore, I can only conclude that my little FAQ was of no use to anyone but me, and seeing as how I already knew the answers, I wasn't looking here either!

Therefore, I'm leaving the one question here that everyone asks me over and over, because I know it will never stop...for the rest of ya'll who are wondering what kind of torch to buy, where to get the various glass, who sells groovy tools, what class instructors I might recommend, I would say your best bet is to check out the various and many chat sites that cover these topics in great detail and actually are very interesting and worthwhile...I spent hours researching when I first started out, and I think that's a great way to learn...go read the boards and you'll learn LOADS more than I could ever teach you, trust me...even how to get gold on beads...but I'll leave that answer here, just to give you a jump start...
