French Salmon Eggs

with thanks to Andrea Guarino and her awesome salmon eggs

A few bits of info I'd like to let you know:

Each strand contains 7 beads - One focal, four beads, and two smaller earring sized beads

I can put either black or metallic dots on the strands, all you have to do is include your request in an email to me and I'll make the adjustments. Otherwise, the beads will come as shown.

Some of the colors are 'reactive', meaning they will not look uniform with each other. That's part of the character of these beads, and I hope you like them for that reason.

Um, I don't speak French, so I chose groovy French words for these sets, so if they are comical, well, no wonder...

"Amis"

Coral and dusty purple. As you can see from the picture, the coral photographs differently, but in real life you don't see this color difference nearly so strongly.

"Deschanel"

I was watching a show w/ Emily Deschanel on it, and I like her last name, so I used it with this set...

These are reactive colors - meaning they will change slightly in the kiln. You can see on the two beads on the right side, they are slightly different in color strength. However, if you look at the other picture, they all seem to work together nicely, so I don't think it would be a big deal. But its your call...

$70

"Jardin"

What happened here? Well, I obviously got sidetracked (taking a dinner break to watch South Park, I believe) and forgot to make enough beads in this color family...However, YOU will get 7 beads in the set, of course!... A pretty blue-purple center and green-blue second color. If you like the Passion Flower sets from this Spring, these match just perfectly!

$70

"Lapin"

Rich rootbeer and honey colors, (butterbeer?)...I love this set, especially for Fall.

$70

"Lundi"

Using the Cowboy and Clementine colors, this is a denim and khaki coupling. I really like how the large focal bead twists in all these sets. it looks like a pinwheel...

$70

"Petit"

A colorways from the Victorian Gold series, I used metallic dots instead of black, but if you prefer black, just let me know and I can make adjustments...I thought the metallic dots made this set look a little more elegant and feminine...

$70

"Raku"

Ah, you know how much I love the colors that the Raku glass delivers....All of these beads are from the same batch of glass, but the colors vary depending on how I fiddled around in the flame, and how long they were parked in the kiln.

What you should know if you choose a strand (7) of these is - the colors are random and I can't guarantee what your strand will look like. I know it will be full of various colors, but because this glass does what it feels like, you will receive whatever the Bead Fairy delivers to me. I photographed all the beads I made, so you could get an idea of what the color possibilities could be...

$70

"Voudrais"

This set looks monochromatic, but I did really use a light and dark aqua set of rods for it. The other picture reflects the colors a little more accurately.

$70

Dex is gonna hang out on here for awhile...he's a good kid...
