The Charlie Fund
Thanks for participating in the health and well-being of Charlie. Or as we sometimes call him "Charlie-In-The-Box". From the Island of Misfit Toys...Cause he's looking a little busted up...and we want to help him get better...
I've put together some of my beadsets, bracelets and disc beads here, with more to come, probably on Etsy. Lord knows I haven't given my poor Etsy site any love lately...
Some of these tasty treats are directly from the Bead and Button show...you might have seen them in some of the pics I posted. They are the same price as I asked at the show - I've even left the price tags on them so you know I'm not asking more or less than what I did at the show. And if you saw me at the show and perhaps wished you'd picked up something there, perhaps it'll be here...One can only hope...
Ok then, you know the drill...PayPal is my friend...Charlie and I thank you...

This strand of Salmon Eggs was picked up SO many times at BnB. I have no idea why people wouldn't buy it, its a perfectly good strand of beads, but I did notice that there were a LOT of folks at the show who were new, and weren't sure what to do with strands of loose beads. I know YA'LL know what to do with them, so I'm offering them here...
I was also tickled how the striped beads match these beads so nicely. A groovy necklace or bracelet (or both, or maybe earrings?)...

These are all the Raku Salmon Egg beads I have on hand at the moment. I might make more later, but I dunno when and I can't guarantee that they'll turn out like these, since we are talking reactive glass that strikes at temps when it feels like it. I used various heat in the kiln to get the sampling of colors from blue-greens to gold-russets and deep maroons. I do dig these beads, indeed...

I know some of ya'll like this color combo, and I have a few strands of it left, but I thought I'd offer one that isn't a high price point today. Would make a groovy bracelet, and in fact, it also matches the Subtle Stripes, since those stripe beads use the same colors as this strand does. Pretty sneaky sis...

You've seen these colors before, one of my favorites and probably the one that I'm recognized for the most (its the color scheme I use on my table setup at BnB even). A fun little grouping of beads for ya, just because...

Hippy Hollow Bracelet
The yellow beads are actually Screaming Lime Green, but I couldn't get the color to come through. I wore this bracelet one day when it matched my lime green shirt. It fits a 7 1/4" wrist easily, and can be resized. Lightweight because the beads are....hollow!

This is a sample necklace that I put together, showing how you can easily wear the beadstrands below. I've already strung them on Beadalon, they have been double crimped for stability, and with nice large jumprings on each end, you can attach a simple chain with clasp, a pretty silk ribbon, a bracelet toggle (see below), or some leather. Use them however you see fit, I wanted to give you a jump start on wearing them, but of course you can cut them apart and use them however you see fit.
The chain is 18" long, and the clasp was one I picked up at my local beadstore. I bet you already have this stuff in your supply box, eh... |

depending on how long the beadstrand is, and how big your wrist is, you can simply add a toggle clasp and wear the strand on your wrist, or remove it, add a chain, and wear it around your neck...

this is a garnet-ended toggle I bought at my local beadstore. I matched the earthy brown strand of hollows. Your favorite toggle would work, of course...

A couple of Woodland Village squeeze bracelets that look good together. I've always liked this blue-purple and brown combination. It matches the Periwinkle Hollows as well..I just realized that...cool...
