Did you miss the Buy Now button?

I've had a great time reading everyone's emails the past couple of days...Most were funny, some were poignant, some made me appreciate my rather quiet life compared to your quite eventful ones. If you didn't get anything, not to worry - there will always be more beads. I enjoyed this 'lottery' version, but I will be going back to the 'buy now' buttons for the immediate future and use the 'essay lottery' only occasionally. Just trying to mix things up for ya'll, make it interesting and give everyone a chance to participate...

The bead fairy did not make a visit to my kiln last night, perhaps she visited yours instead...I did get 12 hours of sleep, though (in bed before 10:00pm) and I needed it...the night before last I got almost no sleep, so it's all balanced out now...Today I can work at the torch (if you call it work) and get some new and groovy stuff done. I'll be balancing the remaining Orders with the New work and plan to get everyone taken care of...eventually...

When will I be opening the catalog again? Well, if you have an urgent need, please email me and we'll work something out. I know some of you are designers who rely on beads and we need to get you loaded up with beads. I haven't made a decision on when to officially reopen it, but I do have some ideas in mind that I'm considering...Maybe open it 1 week a month, take orders during that time, then close it till the next month...What I don't want to have happen is getting too far behind in making orders, and not getting a chance to play and come up with new pieces. Its a balance that I'm still trying to find - and while I appreciate your ideas, I realize this is one area that I have to find my balance with, since I'm the one at the torch. Sometimes I have to be my own patrol officer.

Hi Donna,

I am finally recouping from surgery. Thank you for the little catapillar. She stayed with the whole time.

How nice it is you are in such demand! But bummer for me. Every time I find a beadmaker they become popular and her beads become hard to get.

And how about that bead fairy? With a College Degree? I hope she does not read too much. Then those buy it now buttons will be seen less and less.

Feed you imagination!!!
