I'm workin' at the torch, all the live long day

Time for me to shut down the computer and get some work done...i have the rods pulled, the stringer pulled, some twisties made and ready to go...its raining outside, I have no errands to run, and the kiln is warming up...Feel free to email or Comment, I'll be checking in later, but I'm trying to minimize distractions...I'm not even reading Angels & Demons yet, even though its in my house...

May the force be with you, young Skywalker...

Hey Donna,

You know...I saw all the comments on the books by Dan Brown here the other day. I gave the 'The Da Vinci Code' to my husband for his birthday last week. Then we bought 'Angels and Demons'. I started reading it Thursday night and couldn't put it down. First time I've finished a novel in a long time. For me to read something other than 'how to' is a big joke around my house. My family kept walking by and it was like those commercials...saying 'Mom, you're a reader !!" Now I'm on to the 'The Da Vinci Code'. Thanks for the inspiration...it was just fun to relax with a good book although I didn't even turn on my torch all weekend..yikes!!

Tara, I know just how you feel. I just finished the book this morning, after buying it around noon yesterday. I didn't do a damn thing but read! I absolutely could not put it down. I guess I'll have to check out Angels and Demons now. I don't know anything about it.

Hi Leisha!

Well...I got an 18 yr old cranky kitty...she is a bit ill...gets IV's at home a couple times a week. But STILL she was gonna whoop my mom's tiny Yorkie this weekend for DARING to come into our house. I would dearly love some kitties..but my girl is queen bee (all 5 lbs of her!).

THANKS Donna for showing my bead...I hope you enjoy it. I love your site! And show us your beads you been working on!
