Keith Partridge - My Hero
There's nothing like staying up until 2:00am (again) watching two Biographies- the first episode about David Cassidy and the second about the Partridge Family. I had such a huge crush on David/Keith growing up (Donny Osmond and Bobby Sherman were right there with him...). I was 7 and thought these guys were the best ever...Maybe it was the great hair and teeth, or their singing, I dunno...but still, I was caught up in the Biography of David last night and made lots of beads...the sad thing is, they were for the Art Deco lentils that I posted the other day, so there's nothing new for today...well, maybe there will be later this afternoon, but don't hold your breath...go and enjoy your Saturday and sing C'Mon Get Happy to everyone you meet...

LOL - I was totally in love with David Cassidy and Donny Osmond too - ha ha (and sort of still am). I've been waiting for one of my eBay purchases to go away so no one would see that I bought two Osmond Brothers CDs a short time ago but now I don't care :)

Hi Donna-
At least you went to bed last night! I have been having some major insomnia lately---wide awake all night and sleeping early morning til early afternoon. Not a good routine to be in! This is gonna hurt once I start working if I don't get my nights and days straightened out!
I had to laugh at the David Cassidy thing.....my crush was Shaun, LOL. I must have listened to Da-Doo-Run-Run 85,000 times as a kid...I just kept playing that record (record? sheesh--remember those?) over and over and over again.(my poor family). I'm sure they longed for the Shaun Cassidy days once I hit my teens years and my tastes changed...first to an insane Duran Duran obsession, then to a taste for mind-splitting, excrutiatingly loud, undecipherable "music" LOL. I don't know which phase was worse.
Have a good one....I'm off to make the carousel spin!

Hey Donna,
David and Donny were cute, but I had a crush on Bobby Sherman..whatever happened to him?? I also was crazy about Davy Jones from the Monkee's...I just loved them.
Oh...those were the days :)

Don't kid yourself it was the tight jeans. I had a thing for Bo and Luke Duke, come to think about it they are still pretty hot!

Hmmm...yes to Donny Osmond and no to David Cassidy (too much hair). I guess I was always attracted to the shorter hair type! But weren't they dreamy when we were all going to be their brides....

O.K. I know I am dating myself...but I also had a crush on Bobby Sherman. In the early 70's they had his song "Julie Julie Julie do you love me?" in the box of Honeycomb cereal!You could unwrap it from the plastic and play the 45 on the "record player"...and sometimes you needed the nickle taped to the arm to keep the record from skipping!!! Yikes that was long ago! And I also drove my family crazy playing it over and over....
