I dunno, what's a good title?
i think the hardest part of updating for me is coming up with a title for each day's writeup...sheesh...
So I'm never afraid to offer opinions to Corina, as i'm sure most of you aren't afraid either...isn't it groovy to see your name in a publication that you didn't write? I didn't make it into the 1000 Beads book (I didn't submit, my beads were crap at the time) and I wish I was in there - the book is fabulous...I have made it into a couple of other Corina "Spotlight On..." publications, and hope to work with her on one down the road, if we ever get there...(hmm, that's a bit of a hint now, isn't it?)...If you aren't a beadmaker, her latest Spotlight on Marketing may not be of interest to you, but for those of ya'll who, like me, are trying to find their little place on the information superduperhighway, its a good reference book.
my next task is to update my packaging - its been bothering me for a while, and friends have suggested I spruce it up - SO...if you have any examples or suggestions of what you think I should do, please email/comment and let me know...In fact, I'm going to be adding a new 'feature' on my site to reward suggestions, so stay tuned for that new addition coming up this week...
I'm off to an appt., back this afternoon to make some lovely beads for all of you...ta!

This actually made me laugh out loud.........I love Sesame Street! Actually, the old episodes are a lot better than what they have going on now, I think. My cousin was playing the Sesame Street 25th anniversary DVD for her son recently, while I was visiting. Ahhhh...what a trip down memory lane! I was mesmorized! LOL. I don't have any kids...would it be weird for me to buy the DVD for myself? Heehee

remember the guy who painted numbers on everything? even the number 8 on a bald head...I also loved Electric Company, but my favorite was Zoom. Zee, Double O, Em...I used to do that thing that Bernadette did with her arms - the twisty thing...I saw her on an 'I Love the 70's' VH1 the other night - I was such a PBS geek back then and still am! History Detectives, Antique's Roadshow, Nova, Mystery! are all goodies as a grow'd-up...and I'm all grow'd up now...heh...go buy the DVD and sing with the Count - One, One banana...ah ah ah...

Sesame Street - I was one of the first Sesame street watchers - I was born in 66 and it came out in 69 I think. Taught me to read before school. I loved Snuffleupakas (spelling?).
Donna: I bought 1000 glass beads on my lunch hour today. (happy sigh)
I already bought Princess C's marketing thingy, and devoured it. I plan to launch some things next month and will use her guidance to do it.
BTW, did you SEE the new Raku frit being tossed around on WC? Girl...go get some and show us some BEADS!

About packing - do a web search for "favor boxes" and you will find lots of interesting ideas. I did NOT say cheap. :-)
