Beadbox Boogie

cats_BagheeraInShade.jpg

I just got back from dropping Bagheera off at the vet, and stringing beads seemed like a fun thing to do..He's gonna be fine, I'm not worried about him, but he doesn't like car rides or the vet (who does, really?) and I always feel bad leaving any of our cats there...but its a good office, and he's a good kid, so I'm not worried..

Your cat's name is Bagheera? Older, male cat? So is
mine! Does that seem odd? Black cat= jungle book, I guess!

Love your beads!

Yeah, we inherited him from a family who had a 10 year old girl who named him...he looks Siamese, but he answers to Bagheera...he's the alpha male of the house, but he LOVES LOVES LOVES people and kids...if he doesn't know you, he will run right to you and want to be petted...He will jump in your car if you let him...I'm surprised the UPS girl hasn't driven off with him once or twice...he's the most friendly cat I've ever seen. and he loves Halloween! All the kids coming to the house, he enjoys all the petting and attention..its quite hilarious...

Our " Mr.B" couldn't be different. We live out in the woods and when he was a "teen" cat, he disappeared for about 5 weeks. I was afraid the red fox had gotten him. He showed up one Sunday morning looking absolutely awful. Skinny, matted and frightened to death. He has been spooked ever since. That was 5 years ago and just now, he will sit on my lap but I can't put my arms around him- too restraining. Pet him, yes but hold him? No way! But he is a great guy. And as big as a house! B.

Hope that Bagheera has a speedy recovery. I already miss him in your front yard and on our porch. Such a sweet big guy!!!!
Guess I'm too late again for the pickings. I really like the Moody series!!!
