Need your opinion on bead shapes
I have nearly all the presses that Corina and Zoozii put out (although I don't use them all, now do I?)...but they are gearing up for a bunch of new ones and I don't think I can afford them ALL, so I'm asking for input on the new ones as they come out..the first one that's up for sale is a Lozenge style - click the link to view Corina's page and email or Comment and let me know if you'd be interested in beads made using this shape, and if so I was thinking the 3 various sized press would be more versatile than the others...but if you don't fancy these, I don't want to buy another stamp I won't use...(Corina said she has 7 new presses to try, so there are plenty more coming down the pipeline and at roughly 65.00 a clip, I'm just trying to be sensible...like that ever happens)...

The lozenge style looks very close to the squeezed to me. I don't think it's worth your money (just my thoughts)

Corina makes a good case for the lozenge style and if I were starting from scratch I might buy
it instead of some earlier shapes, but I'm personally not happy with the idea that the
center is thinner than the edge. Seeing the beads might change my mind, of course. I think in your
place I'd wait a while longer and see several new shapes before buying anything.

I love the lozenge shape and hope some of my favorite beadmakers try it at some point. love how the edges are flush so you have more options stringing. But knowing their are 7 more coming...might hold off in case we all change our minds and love the next one better.

Donna,
I think the lozenge looks pretty cool. Of course, I'd prefer the smallest size. With your personal "twist" to the bead, I'd buy 'em in a minute!! You go for it my friend!

Just like you I have all of the bead presses and they are getting to be to much of the same thing. So I am going to hold out and wait and see what comes up. Maybe Corina can give us an idea of the seven different shapes, then we will be able to make a better choice. I love the tools!!!

The lozenge looks like a nice bead, but I would suggest holding off on it too. Lots of presses coming out and as you said, they do cost. I personally like the "Patricia Santana" a lot, very unique. But you have to figure out if the press will pay for itself quickly or not. You should try going back to the presses that you aren't using and see what it was that drew you to them to begin with. Whatever you decide though, I'm always drooling over it here at home! Good luck!

I'd pass on this shape for now. It's interesting no doubt -- but I don't think it adds a lot yet.
