How'd the beads turn out?

Have you ever bought new shoes that hurt your feet and wished you could salvage your old, soft, comfortable (beat to hell) shoes - even though you know they've been tossed out and you'll never wear them again? Well, I made beads yesterday, 5 beads...they actually turned out better than I thought, but I found that I was trying to make too many changes in my work space...I had a new rod rack, a new arm rest that moved me 6 inches back from my comfort zone, and I'd hooked my Lynx back up after not being on it for well over 5 months...too many new things to try to overcome at once...SOooo....I've unhooked the Lynx, taken the arm rest apart, and removed the rod rack...the Minor is back in place and I think I can get some REAL work done today...I was so hoping to have plenty of beads for ya'll, but it was like riding a Unicycle over a pit of Aligators - not comfortable...

I do like how the beads turned out, though...I'm working in some Valentine colors, but I want to surprise you when they are done, so that's all I'm going to say for now...heh...

Today should be a great day for beadmaking, tho...After a quick trip to the nursery to pick up some rose bushes we've been waiting on, I'll be home all day..no dinners with friends (last night was Sushi night with my buddy Jim), no friends coming over (Letha had to leave town) and no cable installing (they set the cable install for the 8th by mistake, so I don't have to deal with them till then)...Just a dark and dreary 39 outside...we are getting lots of birds looking for food, tho...I hope to pick up some suet cakes for our woodpecker who's been trying to get food from the sunflower seed in the feeder..I learned they need fat in their diet when they can't find insects in the winter, and suet helps supplement that...

I watched some of my Netflix DVD's yesterday while making my 5 little beads, and have sent those back...am waiting for my next movies to arrive...I can't remember whats in the top of my queue, as i've added and changed it so many times now...so this will be a surprise...at least it'll keep me from watching 'crappy craft' tv where they use glue to attach rhinestones to lampshades and crap like that...For some reason I find those shows hypnotic - repulsive, yet I can't look away...Carol Duvall is my favorite 'cc' leader of the group...I also enjoy Jackie Guerrrrrra on DIY's Jewelrymaking..her stuff isn't so crappy, actually...but when they start doing 'add this jumpring to this chain' business, I tune out...I missed her show yesterday, there was a lampworking segment on, but I was at Target picking up Valentine candy (Love that Dove) and some new pajamas...Its so fun when you find flannel jams for 2.48 on sale...now THAT's shopping!!

Hi,
Glad to have you back in the "saddle", so to speak.
It has been fun hearing about your Murano trip. Will there be any new pictures coming up? I would also love it if you described your armrests and whether you think you will keep them. I am trying to solve this problem, and need something.
Thanks for all your insights.
Best wishes,
Susan

I will most definitely be posting NEW pics from Murano and Venice...just need to get them optimized and up...

I haven't had a chance to work with the armrests too much, but i hope to have more info in the next few days...I've made some adjustments that I think will help me and I want to give them a spin...which means TODAY! woohoo, beads!
