STELLA!!!!............STELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, this is strange - about 1:00pm this afternoon I started feeling sick...cold and shivery, nauseous, headache..so I layed down for awhile...I feel better, but not great...and wouldn't you know it,I'm teaching this weekend! I haven't been really sick in over 5 years, not since before we moved into this house...and now I feel my chest tightening...I hope this is some kind of 24 hour 'just passin thru' kinda bug cause I can't be sick...i refuse!

Do me a favore- view the beads on the Fiore Massiccio page and think about which one you want...I'm going to put these up in groups again, its easier for me to stay on top of the sales...Think about which one you want, and when they're ready, you can zoom in and grab it easily...okey dokey?

A snapshot of what's coming up...20, count 'em 20 beads...Lots of 'Stella'(stars) and a few Fiore..and yes...I've included the stars from my own bracelet (except the one that broke, I'm keepin' that one)...WHEN will this take place? I still gotta optimize all the 20 pics, so gimme some time..I'll post a time when I have a better idea...

rock on...

Its amazing what a few little cookies and milk will do for the Bead Fairy...she smells them from way above the house (well, she flies low cause she's afraid of telephone wires) and zooms down with her loot to bestow on all of us...I do believe I see a few mandrels sticking out of the kiln, merrily cooking away...That's the only cooking the BF does, I'm fairly sure..(get it - 'fairly=fairy'...hmmm..no).

Bring your sunglasses, the Fiore Massiccio are bright and colorful, and I hope you find one that you can keep as a pet...See ya in the morning...

Mama mia! These are great! Can't wait to see the rest! I can see my packing for my trip is going to have to wait a little longer . . .

You are a GLASS GODDESS!

I cannot wait to get my Fiore and Stella beads.

Hey, Venezia (the one I wanted, natch) went FAST!!
I was reloading the page every twenty seconds and never saw the Buy button--she went from blank to Sold! Good thing there were other lovelies....

Best wishes,

there always seems to be one bead that EVERYONE wants...today it was Venetia...you weren't the only one who missed it or who was upset...i can't explain it, I don't understand it...there are 20 beads and everyone wants the same one...I just stand back and let the havoc rein...

Ah, Venetia had the silver scrolls...that's what caught *my* eye! She was the most elegant! But I'm not upset, just surprised--well, a little disappointed, but them's the breaks.

that must have been it - I was wondering why it was the most popular, because I think there are nicer beads (honestly, how evil of me to pick one over another)..
I have MANY ideas in the making for more of these beads, including plenty of SHINY dots, stringer and the like...so this won't be the only one...acutally that's a purple stringer that just happens to go shiny...I'll be pulling out the 'big guns' and doing all out reduction gold before long...so don't you fret, you'll get plenty of chance to get what you're lookin' for, I PROMISE you that chica!

Yes, I can see you've got lots of fun ahead of you playing around with this style--and it's a neat format to try out new techniques with, too. I like your Stella but I think the Fiori could become a "signature" bead--I've never seen beads with this sort of controlled asymmetry before and I really love it. They're not only wonderful in the Max and Me jewelry but very flexible and inspriring for lots of other wire work!

yes, I think the Fiore are a bigger hit than the Stella beads...I'll still do both, but I'l do MORE Fiore beads...I could tell at how fast they were being bought today that they are the more popular of the two styles...they are both fun to do (and time consuming - each bead takes me between 20-25 minutes, not counting the hours to pull all the stringer...).

I saw the first batch when they came up - too many choices! Again, that final round Jeopardy music was playing in my head! Missed out on my favs - he who hesitates is without beautiful beads! But I know Donna will come through for us all with more pretties! I favor the fiore the most too, but I do love the stellas! Keep that creative mind going Donna! Love what you do! What do you think about more purple/green/blue combos??

Oh, sure! I'm not online this morning and all this happens! Darn!!

Hi Donna

I can't not WAIT for my new beads. Oh my goodness, Donna, they are beautiful! The colors are amazing and the Italian influence is definitely apparent. I hope you aren't getting this upper respiratory virus that has been going around the east coast. It is horrible - I have been sick with it for 3 months. Please get some rest. I think after this last batch we would all agree you deserve it.

Hey, girlfriend! I hope you're feeling better this morning and that class will go smoothly for you and be lots of fun. (I think you must've worked too hard on these beautiful beads :)!! They're awesome as ever.)

Well wishes to you to feel good soon :).
