What's on tap this week?
I ordered some goodies from Rio Grande last week - what a nice bunch of folks...I hope the stuff arrives today and I'll show you what it is then...don't want to spoil the surprise...I've been watching LOTS of Jewelry Making, KNitty Gritty and Crafter's Coast to Coast - and the ideas are bouncing all around my head...so I took the plunge and bought some stuff for one particular project that I'll be able to incorporate my beads with...and it'll let me be sasssy at the same time...oh, I can't WAIT till it all gets here (hopefully it'll all work together, i had to guess at some sizes and I'm not sure I guessed accurately...)
I"m getting ready to be BUSY these next two weeks..I have a 2-part class starting Friday night, then Saturday I'll be helping to entertain Janice Peacock while she's in town, then Sun/Mon I'll be in class all day...Next Thur I have a student coming in from NC and then next Fri is the second part of my 2-part class...so I'll be around, just in bits and spurts...
I made a few beads yesterday, I must admit I've been on a Squeeze kick lately and sure enough the beads from last night are squeezed and lentiled...I'll string them and show them but I may just keep them for me cause I like the organic earthy-ness of them and I'm not so sure they'll be your cup of green tea...So, I have beads to show, but you may get lucky and save your pennies till another day...
I'm also thinking of adding a new section under the Artist page- something that talks about 'weird, fun, interesting' facts about ME and my world...I know you don't really get a good feel for who I am during my long blog rants, but there are some kinda weird things about me that you might enjoy...and I might even turn it into a contest or something..I've been playing around with the idea...so look for that in the coming days/week...
