Just a quick 'howdy ho'...
I'm taking off in a bit for class...Kathy emailed to let me know that Eyelash yarn is on sale at HObby Lobby this week - time to stock up...and ironically I've signed up for a 'fuzzy bracelet' class at our local beadstore...sometimes I just like to get out and take classes - even if I have the ability to do the project right in front of me...I love classes!!!
I scored two really groovy mask beads from Janice yesterday...and today we are going to work on vessels and goddesses...tomorrow is mask and 'multi-hooha' bead day...i hope we get a dichro mask worked in sometime too...they are super cool, especially when they're etched...its like they glow...

The mask beads sound like a blast to make. I've seen Janice's work in "1000 Glass Beads" (my favorite bead book for inspiration!) - totally cool! The etched dichro mask sounds mysterious with its glow-ability effect. As always, can't wait to see what you've done in class!!!

Well, as the instructor for the Fuzzy Bracelet class - woo-hoo! We'll have so much fun! The first time I taught the class I had one student make a non-fuzzy fuzzy bracelet that was way cool. She used thin metallic fibers and some industrial looking greek metal. It turned out mod and tough.
