Spring Flowers
while the weather is cool and overcast (70 in May is unheard of, it should be 89 and sunny so I'm taking advantage of it), I'm planting new flowers in the flowerbed...I didn't buy enough (do we ever?) so I have a few holes to fill...the coolest thing is we have a nursery that backs up to our house, so we just walk over and pick up what we need...I have petunias, marigolds, salvia and dianthus in right now, and I think I need some greenery and dusty miller to fill in for some texture...will get a pic once its completed...Dex is out there with me (well he just walked in where I am) Dex WAS out there with me sleeping in the cool dirt...

Oh how I envy you being in your garden - and with a wonderful kitty by your side! We live in a condo, so I don't get to have much of a garden, but I try - love my pansies! Glad to hear Dex is out and about enjoying the cool weather and your beautiful garden. Have a great day planting!

70?! I'm jealous! We had SNOW over the weekend! It's only 34 right now! Brrrrrrrr! Glad to hear Dex is doing better. How would you like to come garden at my place? I've got several, but no green thumb... I bribe my Mom with Black Russians and grandkid time to come up and work on my garden. HEEHEE!

I am so glad Dex and you are enjoying the outdoors!! Like Kathy, I LOVE pansies but no gardening for me yet. In good old northern Illinois we are to have a broken low temp tonight. The record was 30 but tonight it is dropping to 22 degrees. This isn't right!! It is May for goodness sake!
