Mermaid kickin' my rear...
Bah...I'm here and working on the mermaid mesh chain maille bracelet from Anne Mitchell..its a super cool mesh, but its making my head hurt...I can't tell if I'm doing it right, or if I have too many rings hooked together..I needed to take a break..this one is gonna take me days and days to complete, I can already tell...
Watched North by Northwest last night...great movie...kinda slow, not scary, but can Cary Grant BE any more gorgeous? good grief...
I have the NFL network playing non-stop in the background...great background noise..lets me 'think' and get stuff done..especially since these are preseason games and don't make any difference...I like the white noise...
Sounds like LOTS of ya'll have hummingbirds in your yards up north..I dunno how I misunderstood what the lecture dude was talking about..he said Mexico has like 53 species, Texas has 18 and Oklahoma has 5...his point was that the further from the equator, the fewer birds..but apparently they are up further North than I'm understanding...so I'm very glad to hear you're enjoying the birds too...put RED in your yard if you want to attract them, but NOT in the water - they don't know what red food coloring will do to the bird's kidneys, so just keep the solution clear but use red to draw them in...they don't need to drink it, tho...
Ok then...I'm off to try some new stuff...enough with the chain maille for today..I give...I know when I've been beat...my head hurts...I need to burn something...time to relocate Darcy from my seat so I can sit and cause havoc at the torch...back later...ahhhh...the A/C has just kicked in...things are looking up!

If you like Cary Grant...watch Houseboat with Sophie Lauren, and Father Goose with Leslie Caron. They're both classics!!! I love those old movies. Oh...I almost forgot my most favorite old movie...Philadelphia Story with Katheryn Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart.
