What's Going On ...

Donna, glad you and your family didn't have to deal with Hurricane Rita! As we all know, hurricanes are so unpredictable! I'm going to order Corina's new Orrb press - the shape looks even more comfortable to wear than the lentil. Give it a whirl, girl!

So happy to hear the hurricane isn't coming near you! I hope the devastation from this one isn't anywhere near as bad as Katrina.
That silver work class sounds fun! I'm getting ready for our move into our new home (less than a week away now!) But I am definitely feeling more in a learning mode than a jewelry making mode lately. I started watercolor painting classes last week and I'm going to be looking into pottery classes next week. If this keeps us I'll be a "jack of all trades, master of none", LOL!
About the new bead press...yes, give it a shot...I loved the shape immediately...they look like such comfortable beads to wear. As soon as the press is available I'm going to buy one for myself, too. (you know, to sit there beside all the other tools and presses I'm not using, since I haven't sparked a torch since, like, February or March...ha!).

Oops, just came from Corina's site, and saw the new Orrb press is already available. I don't know why I thought it was a work in progress! If you do end up getting one I'd love to know what you think. It will have to wait a little while for me...

we aren't going to get anything from Rita either. I'm kinda bummed; I was really looking forward to a couple of rainy days, and temps below 100! As for Cornia's new press, I like it a lot! BTW, you really stumped my DH with the movie quiz - it was all he did last night! It was a lot of fun, but he's not too happy that I got waaaay more correct than he did!

Donna, those autumn lentils are gorgeous! Hmmm, I may have to order a set of those! They would go perfect with a particular blouse I have.
