Roses for Friday
I did a quick check on the roses in the backyard and the aphids and thrips seem to have packed up and left...I know some of ya'll were concerned that I'm using poisons to take care of them, but I'm not...I'm all about organics - peppermint soap, DE, and even ladybug larvae to take care of the problem..in fact, this weekend I'm planting organic garlic and onions around the plants cause they are repellent/companion plants that take care of the bad guys on their own...if I thought sprinkling parmesean cheese on the plants would help, I'd do it...
Enjoy some pics of what's going on in the yard in the meantime...

Oh, Donner, you are so lucky to watch your roses now!!! We here in old Germany are crawling our way through tons of snow with not even a sight of snow bells. It will takes 3 more months to have my roses in bloom ...
Take care and watch the enemies
