A horse is a horse, of course, of course...

Today is when I feel like a horse...dentist appt to have my teeth worked on, then hair appt to have my curls coiffed...If they ask me what time it is, I'll stomp my hoof twice and ask for a carrot...

I was excited last night for a funny weird reason..while Brian is mowing the front yard, I'm deadheading spent rose blooms and noticed that since I've let mother nature to take care of the aphids and thrips, they are doing a bang up fantastical job...super duper..I saw nary an aphid or thrip (a few, but not many) and ran across the most excited thing - lacewing eggs...(aren't they cool? see how they are on teeny threads and suspended in mid air? awesome)...normally, I'd just remove any/all bugs and figure I'd done a good thing...but no longer, Mr. Greenjeans...I am learning what the GOOD bugs look like...lacewings=good...ladybugs=good...I even have a mystery white spider looking thing that seems to be doing a good job, so I'm leaving him alone...

Overall the roses are looking good...I'll go snap some shots when I return from the stable...

Oh, and the FELTED BOWL!! I kinda got sidetracked doing other stuff yesterday so i'll go get a pic this morning...

I have to do my taxes in the next couple of days so I can get them to my accountant early next week...they'll love that...but our taxes aren't hard, I just am not math-enabled, so I let them plug in the numbers and keep me outta jail for yet another year...So I'm not sure exactly when I'll have new beads, I need to get these done before I feel comfortable firing up the torch, but I will get to it asap...I gotta...its making me a little nervous...

South Park wins a Peabody Award...Butters is going to accept the award...

Mandisa! is gone...we missed the vote-off last night...I'm surprised and sad...she's better than Bucky or Ace...bah...

Oooh I like the felted bowls. If I can ever finish the monster project of a felted laptop bag that is Jeff's ever increasingly late birthday present, I may have to make some bowls. Those are so cute! Now do some with stripes!

The green one is awesome...its my first attempt at increasing/decreasing and while I got a little off count - can you tell? Nope! that's what's so groovy about felting...hides all the problems you make...and I am good at making problems...

Stripes is *exactly* what I thought I'd do next...I have some left over yarn - and I think i know what I need to do to stripe with it...does the fun never end?

HOW in the world did you get my cat out there to pose with your bowls?????

Do you know what breed your cat is? We haven't been able to figure out what ours is, since we found him as a stray.

Cool bowls, by the way. DARN! Now I want some yarn....dang crafty cravings.

Bagheera is a 'farm grown' kitty, being born on a farm...we inherited from another family, when they moved from the rental we moved into, and he stayed behind in the rental...we aren't sure what he is, but he looks and acts like a Birman...but most folks 'in the know' kinda give me a frown when I say that...so we think he must just be a cool cat who LOVES people and does a good job guarding his property at night...we call him our 'college kid' cause he's out all night and sleeps all day...

Well, Bagheera is quite a looker. My hubby thinks Si is a Birman too. I think he might be. He sure is big as a house and about as easy to move.
