Favorite Smell
This made me laugh...if you aren't familiar with her, here's a little background..
The radio station is asking what's your favorite smell...its interesting to hear this, since I have no sense of smell, and can't tell you what anything smells like...suntan lotion, cut grass, a set of new tires have all been mentioned...hmmm...ok...I've heard about cut grass smelling like watermelon, and how wonderful a bakery is...and mimeograph ink (remember those purple pages? I used to get to run those machines in high school- fun!)...There are good and bad aspects to not being able to smell, but if you had one sense to lose, its probably the best one to lose...

Okay favorite smell anything SWEET baking, GAG reflex smell spoiled fish YEECH! Not all smells bring smiles..........

LOVE lavender, peony, stargazer lillies and, best of all, baby's fresh from the tub or just after waking up in the morning. That sweet, sleep warmed body makes you want to cuddle them all day! The same thing) both make me nauseous. BLECH!

I LOVE the smell of lavender, lilacs (just discovered a bush blooming in the back corner of our yard & I'm thrilled), honeysuckle, Pot roast cooking for hours in a slow cooker with veggies and all the seasonings, my chicken wings, Nina Ricci L'Air Du Temps perfume...it's been my favorite since I was 17---love it. Oh, can't forget the fresh ocean air...love that salt water smell. And the smell of a woodstove in the fall.
