Question and answer time...

Have you ever spent $1000 on a chair? yeah, me either...

When I was a kid, a neighbor's cat caught a hummingbird...it was still alive in it's mouth...and was rescued by my friend...happy ending...how does a cat catch a hummingbird? They are the fastest flying bird I've ever seen...Clementine caught a baby sparrow once...it was the weirdest thing to see...the bird was in her mouth, but the wings were open across her face...it covered most of her face...I didn't know what was going on at first...you think when a cat catches a bird, the entire bird is in it's mouth...leave it to Clementine to do something weird and different...

Are you afraid of heights? Of flying? Of spiders and snakes? What if you were afraid of showers (after watching Psycho!)...what if you were afraid of toasters?

I like to go fast in cars, but I don't drive fast myself...The fastest I've gone is 150mph in a Lamborghini Diablo...at 2:00am...it was thrilling...

Have you ever spotted someone in the grocery store you didn't want to see, so you hid, or turned around and walked the other way?

Do you ever talk to yourself outloud while shopping? Do you care if someone hears you?

I don't know how to cook very well...Years ago I tried to make a steak, and it came out badly...so I threw it over the fence behind our apartment, into the field...I vowed never to waste another steak like that, and I never have...

I like the Variety Big Book of Puzzles and games...I do all the puzzles in ink...and it makes me happy...

My cat Amelie is so fat that her nicknames are Chunky Monkey, Chumbawumba, Chunky peanut butter, Fatty, Fatty fat-fat, and Bowling Ball...she can still jump up and run up the stairs as fast as any of the skinny cats can, tho...

Do you play an instrument? Did you enjoy learning it? Do you still play?

Oh No! I didn't think kitties could catch hummers. I do not want to see that. I am petrified of spiders and hornets. Not big fat juicy bubble bees. Those I like to pet:). Actually, I am afriad of toaster OVENS! One burst into flames on me once. Not good.
Yes I admit it. Sometimes I avoid people. Hard to do in these parts. Everyone knows you. Yes I talk to myself while shopping sometimes and it would bother me if someone heard me :) I luuuuv to cook and don't play an instrument. You are a funny little bead maker Donner and I love it! Bye for now..Nonie

We had Camille, a friends' cat, for a year while they spent one year in Australia. I'm a dog person, never had a cat before in my life, so that was great and she was a lot of fun. She iss not on the skinny side either, but she could catch bugs, mice and unfortunately birds with such speed and dexterity, is was amazing... I spoilt it all when I attached two little bells to her collar. I hated it when she brought dead birds home... She was not mad at me and she started bringing stuff she found, like sponges, small toys, even a tennis ball once! She still visits us (she lives nearby) and comes back home for a week or two when her family is on vacation. We love it and we love her!

Hello Miss D-
I love to cook but it doesn't always turn out right.
I don't like to go too fast in cars...I've hit 75 to 80 while I'm driving but if I'm a passenger I start to freak out if the driver goes over 65. (I'm a bit of a control freak with trust issues I suppose).
Yes I talk to myself sometimes but mostly at work. It's not weird though. Everyone around me is doing it too. It keeps us sane.
I'm afraid of lawnmowers and flat out REFUSE to use one. I've become convinced that something awful would happen to me if I ever did. I'm almost as scared of the grill. Can't bring myself to turn it on/light it for fear of a horrendous explosion. So I make hubby do it LOL.
I used to be morbidly afraid of flying, stinging insects to the point of having a near panic attack. I've always run with arms flailing. I don't know what's happened to me but I'm not as scared anymore.
I don't play an instrument but every once in a while I really wish I played violin or a wind instrument. I guess it's never too late to learn.
I like cats but I'm allergic to most of them. I have no clue why some bother me and some dont'. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a cat around the house but I don't know how our Princess of a dog would take to it.
I hope you're doing well--
Rachel

I have paid $1000 for a chair. A "wall hugger" recliner. It was the only way I could get my new office. My office mate works ONLY on Monday and is a psycho therapist. She does hypnotherapy and needs a place for her clients to rest in a prone position. I found and she liked this wonderful leather recliner that replaced her sofa, making room for my equipment.

The problem with hummingbirds is that they believe they are immortal. They have no fear of humans or any other animal! I've had them hover within inches of my face and thus within inches of my cat. I prevented my cat from doing anything more than tremble, but not too sure who would have won in that contest if I hadn't been around. Unfortunately, don't have the cat anymore, but still get the hummers.

Cooking? Shopping? What's that?

With my garden, bugs are a given. I long ago got over being afraid of anything! That being said I still get the huzz when a bugs walks on any portion of my body!!!!!! I'm not Buddist; therefore, they walk on me -- they die!

I love speed, any speed. I still drive a Porsche Targa.
