A snapshot of work in action...
Thought you might be a little interested in the behind the scenes goings on here at Blackberrybeads Studio...this is where I work each day, with my notes, sample beads, tools and trusty assistant...its a good space with good vibes...

OMG that cat is fat. The second picture looks like she is a laptop version of a tea cozy...use her to cover you laptop so it doesn't get dusty...although I don't think she is going to do anything for it getting hairy.

she is a gigantisaur...we've started feeding the cats 2x daily, so as to try and curb her non-stop all day feasting...i hope it works...its only been a few days...
the vet said that some cats will get big when they had been strays and hadn't had a reliable source of food...i dunno if you remember the pics of her when she first showed up, but she was a pretty skinny little thing...she's more than made up for that now, tho...
we are worried that she'll become diabetic, and don't want that...i think she needs to lose about 5lbs..she's 12lbs now, but feels like 30lbs!

My cats got yours beat. I don't know how, cuz I only feed her 2x daily, 1/3 of a cup each time, the recommended dosage for a cat smaller than her, and its been that way for months (she's only 1 year old even) and she weighs almost 18 pounds. How can that be?!!! My mom thinks its because she was very very sick when she was only a few months old and weighed under a pound, so for about a month, we were really pushing her to eat. I just don't get it. Any ideas?

I don't get it either...I have cats who are only 5lbs (Clementine) and others who are normal weight (Bagheera, Darcy, Abigail) and then we have the 'fatties' - Amelie and Clarice...we let them eat whenever they wanted - some ate more than others, just like people do...
Years ago my cat Bennie was 15lbs and ended up w/ diabetes...I put him on W/D, a weight reduction food that helped him lower his weight, but he never lost the diabetes...Dexter, on the other hand, was always a healthy weight, no matter what I fed him...
You might ask your vet, but the ones I've asked haven't been able to offer any real help on it...they want me to get Amelie to play and run/jump more...but she don't wanna...she likes lazing around like Jabba the Hut...she can jump like all the other cats in the house, tho...
