Back it up, Charlie..
Thanks for all the busted back remedies...I can tell my back is getting better...its not perfect yet, I'm still taking Advil, but I have more movement than previously...remember those Doan's pills ads on tv where the dude would raise his arm, and you could SEE how much pain he was in by the red light his armpit gave off? Bad back...but then, with Doan's pills aiding him, the color turned blue and he could raise his arm up over his head...can you even buy Doan's pills anymore?
I worked yesterday and am happy with what I have...more work to be done today...
I was listening to the radio this morning and the host of that new show called Flipped Out was on...he flips houses for profit and the one thing he said was to paint your home in neutral colors like yellow, blue and green...which is PERFECT cause those are exactly the colors I have picked to paint our interior...the front room will be a slate blue, the bedrooms a deep bronzy-yellow and the hallway is either an old-time yellow green, or dusty green, I can't decide...Brian wants maroon for his office (Texas A&M colors of course)...so at least I'm on the right path...eventually we'll work on the bathroom and kitchen cause I want it to look more old and country style...but there's no rush on that..the paint will not take long and should improve the neutrality of the house...the stuff we've hung makes it feel somewhat like our own place, but I think changing the color will make a much bigger difference...
Has anyone ever used a Garden Weasel in the yard? does it work? do you recommend it? is it another gimmicky tool from Ronco? I'm desperate not to spend hours on my hands and knees weeding in 104 temps...anyone able to cast magic?

Love Flipped Out so far. That guy isn't OCD, though. OCD is when YOU have to perform the acts...not when you are compelled to nag others to do them. LOL! I was really annoyed when he said that travertine was so 8 years ago. I swear, I might as well just put in flowery wallpaper and shag carpet and wait for them to come back into style. I am perpetually "so 8 years ago".
I have owned a garden weasel. It wasn't nearly easy enough to operate. Granted, I was dealing with heavy clay soil at the time but the thing was kinda *eh* on the fab/not fab purchase scale. I really prefer to use a really sharp pitch fork looking thing and a spade to loosen the dirt because then you can use your lower body to do the hard work.
