I'm McLovin

I had no idea there were butterfly smugglers...the pic of these Queen Alexandra from Papua New Guinea is amazing...butterflies that are a foot in width?

4:22pm - Just got back from seeing the movie...and all I can say is "NOOOOOoooooooo!!!!"....AGAIN they got me!! All the funny parts of this movie are in the trailer...argh!! We laughed a few times, but it's no 40-Yr Old Virgin...its not as funny as Borat...its not as funny as Animal House or many other movies...there was such potential, but they never followed through...there were some funny times, but overall, its not worth seeing again...wait for Netflix...and we were really looking forward to this one too...grrrrr...

From when we first saw the trailer for this movie months ago, we've been looking forward to seeing it...and today is the day...I see/hear its getting good reviews, so that's encouraging...I've been muting the commercials so as not to see too much beforehand...some of the best Bourne Ultimatum bits were in the trailers on tv...

This weekend is a 'tax-free' shopping spree in Austin and it'll be a madhouse...I do have to make a quick pitstop at the mall to pick up something, so that should be interesting...I hope I get out alive...Not everything is tax-free, its a weird list of stuff that is and isn't...its mostly to help families buy stuff for back-to-school, but then they don't put normal stuff on the list like sports equipment, but they put unnecessary stuff on it like perfume...I dunno, government never makes sense to me...

I am so upset about Superbad. *sigh* I've been looking forward to that one, too.

Did you see the movie too? did you feel the same way? if you haven't seen it, you might like it...i'm just relaying our feelings after seeing it...

I was listening to our local radio station morning show and the guys there LOVED it...laughed thru the whole thing...maybe they could identify with it better...I will say, that the audience we saw it with chuckled about as little as we did...I didn't feel like we were the only ones who weren't laughing...it was apparent to me that we all came away kinda 'eh'...it was cute, it had some moments, but it certainly wasn't as good as it had the potential to be...in my opinion...your mileage may vary...
