Here kitty kitty..
I have to try and catch my big fat cat, Amelie..she's been suffering thru a UTI and I treated her, thought she was better, but she's not...and now she knows I'm after her, so she'd hiding...she's very smart, she could hear me open the fridge door and would hide cause she knew her medicine was stored in there - fridge door=bad medicine...I can only hope that by ignoring her for a bit, I can surprise her and snag her...but even I know better than that...this is gonna take awhile...
The beads are underway, I made lots of nailheads, twisties and other goodies yesterday...And for those of ya'll who are interested in a Round 2, I WILL be offering one...so stay tuned...get your orders ready for submission and I'll letcha know when we can start dancing...
I need to get these blackberries into the ground, they've been living in the wet newspaper i brought them home in...I think I'm going to get some play sand and keep them in there until I get the ground dug up for them...they grow in sand, that's what I dug them out of at the nursery, so I'm sure they'd appreciate some cold wet sand on their roots...
and there ya have it...another exciting day in my life...can you stand it?

that is an excellent question! On the English Tweed picture (click Ready for PIckin if you haven't seen it yet), on Row 3 there are some beads that have large gold raised dots on them...someone said they looked like 'nailheads'and I agree (I think Chanel has a line of jewelry also called 'nailhead')?...
anyway, the beads that start with the NH prefix (NHB is Nailhead Black, NHG is nailhead grey, etc) are the beads I was making yesterday...and I like how they turned out...
there are some nailhead lentils and nuggets as well...
its not a 'formal' name, its just something that seemed to make sense...

Thanks for the explanation, Donna. They do look like nail heads pounded into the beads.
Also, thanks for the reminder about the B&B! I signed up for a class and got tickets to the social!!!
