Its another late night tonight...

I was here till 9:00pm last night...and it was great...I put together two floor lamps that really fit the mood of the studio and I wanted to see how they'd work in the evening, so I stayed late, watched some Mad Men, made some beads and enjoyed the ambiance of the new light...I do believe tonight will be another long night, mostly because I didn't get over here until 3:00pm...Tuesdays are always a weird day for me, but I did get the dog walked, and didn't stay in Austin and eat sushi this week, so that I could get here as soon as possible...I guess I haven't eaten lunch yet today, cause I feel hungry...

My bangs were getting too long in my eyes, so I gave them a trim...do you cut your own hair? I have someone do the proper job, but I've never been afraid to take scissors to my own hair...especially the bangs...just twist them up and rake the scissor across them...done!

I think i need to see if my new crystals have been delivered at the post office, cause so far nothing has shown up at the house and I'm in dire need of these orders...looks like I need to step outta my space and take a mosey on over...man, i dislike the post office people...I thought I would like them, but RUDE is the only way to describe them...Ornery old coots...

I cannot bring myself to watch the debates, I'm doing the Cliff Notes versions again...I'd rather relax than get worked up...besides, like Brian says - we have no control of what's going to happen...so I'll be chilling and squeezing some glass, catching up on how things were done in the 60's...what an interesting and eye-opening show Mad Men is...I knew folks in the 60's did things a whole lot differently than we do today, but last night there was a character (married) who was pregnant, and smoking/drinking while at a birthday party...everyone smoked, at all times, even the Doctors who gave exams...and then the psychiatrist spoke to the husband of a patient - no patient confidentiality at all...and I'm not EVEN talking about all the sexual harassment and innuendo in the work place...its an interesting show, tho and I'm enjoying watching it, almost like a documentary....
