Who's that on the fat sounding bike?

2:00pm I'm uploading bracelets to Etsy right now...

The Bead Fairy did indeed find my new studio and has left a batch of beads...I'll be cleaning/posting them after lunch...find them on Etsy...i'll post a link as usual...you know the drill by now, right?

So, while signing up for a Kristina Logan class next Summer (how cool is that gonna be???), I got to talking to Jim at Bluemoon and taunted him with taking a trip out to see the new studio and having some awesome BBQ - and he jumped on his Harley and showed up on my doorstep...it was great...he and his wife Rose own BlueMoon Glassworks, a wonderful stained glass and lampworking shop...they bring the most wonderful instructors in to teach and its like one big happy family...turns out they also know loads of artists out here where I live, so we tooled around on his very loud bike and I pointed out all the 'happenings' in town...there are so many, you know...it takes all of 5 minutes to tour the town, and that's if you get lost...

I haven't been on the back of a bike since college, and have never been on a Harley before...one thing I noticed was that everyone looks as you toodle by...especially in a small town...good thing I don't know many people out here...the BBQ was great, the visit was great, and I think they both need to come out next time and then take a trip through the countryside...now that the weather is cooling off a bit its time to bring out the bikes and hit the road...vroom vroom...

I'm here early to get work done...guess I best get to it...
