Jump in..

Just when you thought YOUR house was too big to clean, check out what this dude is building...impressive...

I didn't advertise it very clearly yesterday cause I was so tickled having the Potter Pals on the site, so today I'm posting a pic of the English Tweed beads with an offical notice that Round 2 is open...for those of ya'll who've already submitted orders, I'll be sending invoices shortly...you are on the list...

Time to take my car and truck for inspection..last day of the month...I might take the truck tomorrow, which will help separate the two vehicles and give me a little breathing room so i don't have to get them both inspected at the same time...its a beautiful day, but the inspection place is slow, so I'll walk to the new Smoothie/Sandwich shoppe and have a smoothie while I wait...

I walked to the post office yesterday and stopped in one of the local shops on the little downtown street that is going out of business...they sell antique furniture and i'm sorry to see the are leaving...they couldn't/wouldn't tell me who has bought their building, but I don't think it'll be something quaint and fun for the downtown area...I suspect it'll be like another building just a few doors down from it - it'll turn into office space...ugh...who wants to go to a small town and see office spaces? we need restaurants, shops, places for people out of town to come and visit...office space? not very inviting...I'm disappointed...

Time to get going...

Are you 'Wonky Friendly?'

There's a beadmaker who makes beads that I love...I've been stalking her site for years and always think she does really interesting work..(and no, I'm not gonna name names, sorry, maybe I'm making all this up!)...one of the things I've noticed about her beads is they are beautiful, but not shaped very well...its not that they are BAAAAD per se, they just aren't as round or smooth or perfect as a perfect bead might be...but I'm actually ok with that...I think they are pretty, and I enjoy looking at them...

So, my question to ya'll is - what is your interpretation of 'perfect' beads? If you see a strand that you like, but they are a little wonky, would you still buy them? would you be embarressed to wear them? do you seek out 'strange' beads? (I have a friend who only ever WANTS the odd-lots, she prefers 'weird' beads instead of perfect beads)...I've considered making beads out of whack on purpose mostly organic ones, cause I think they lend themselves to being wonky...and of course there are the beads that turn out wonky on accident, but I'm not talking about making 'lazy' beads, I mean to make them wonky on purpose...just curious what you think...

Its 75 here today, but tonight its supposed to be 35..a 40 degree drop...no wonder everyone around here is sniffling and feeling woozy...the weather is always wacky in the winter...like I say, its either 'hot' or 'not as hot' here...its never really 'cold' for very long...the rest of the week in the upper 60's with rain, sun and wind...feels like Spring...the blackberries are still up and alive, for now...we'll see how it goes...the outdoor cats are sleeping on the pine straw mulch...i think its warm and dry...kinda like sleeping on a bale of hay, I guess...

Dreary day in dreary land..

Thought you might enjoy a pic of something bright and Springy...we'll be planting in a few weeks, and I'm ready today!!

English Tweed First Rounders - your beads will begin shipping tomorrow! If you haven't paid yet, no fear, I know there are a few who haven't received invoices yet because my server went down...I'll get fixed soon...If you are interested in Round Two, I will be opening that up either tomorrow or Wednesday...Get your orders ready for submission...yeehaw...

I finally watched Brokeback Mountain last night...and Zodiac, although I fast-forwarded thru the scary parts...I'm home alone while Brian is in Dallas and at 1:00am, its not good to be watching scary movies...Brokeback, however, was wonderful...I am still so bummed that it didn't win the Oscar for Best Picture...it was totally ripped off...the scenes of the mountains (shot in Canada, btw) are gorgeous, and I think I actually like Jake Gylleennhhaall better than I used to...Its hard to imagine that this was probably the best work Heath Ledger will ever have done, but what a great movie to be remembered for...I think I may watch it again before shipping it back to Netflix...the 'making of' extras were fun too...sounds like Ang Lee is a great director to work with...

The cats are mesmerized by a dove in the yard...everyone stares at so intensely...the birds keep flying into my sliding glass door, and its rather startling when I'm working...at least they fly away...its bad when they hit the door and fall to Earth...I'd rather not deal with dead/dying birds today, thank you...

If you are a lover of movies like I am, you will enjoy this list of Maxim's 11 Most Absurd "N-o-o-o-o" Scenes in Movies...You might want to turn the sound down on your computer...Good stuff...

What's your favorite weapon in a movie? Number 1 makes sense to me!

Invisibles! you've seen these before, movie images w/ the actors removed- you have to guess which film it is...

Dolphin Bubbles

I've never seen this before...ever...did you know dolphins played with airbubbles that they themselves create? Its wonderful to watch...

Feeling sluggish at work? here are 20 snacks that are good for you...no goldfish or Snickers on this list, sorry...

my cat Darcy has the hiccups...its kinda hilarious...

the dog is barking at neighborhood cats who are trying to sneak into our backyard and eat the food I put out there...its always something...

the black and white kittens we've been fostering look to have a new home in Dallas...we'll be taking them up there in Feb to their new farm...they get to be barn kitties, chase the meeces to pieces, play in the hay and sleep in the sun...at least they'll have each other, they are pretty close little creatures...we've let them have run of the house and they are so cute...they kinda like us, but prefer to be with one another than with us...they tolerate us, but don't ask for love unless we seek them out...they'll do great in the barn...

Can ya laugh at yourself?

I have no ill will toward Tom Cruise..i used to love his films, in fact Risky Business is probably my favorite of all his films...I was always a fan, even when folks thought he was 'just another pretty face' and not worthy of an Oscar...but his recent behaviour cannot be ignored...I'm all for being excited about whatever religion you believe in, really I am...I just don't appreciate when someone tries to force their beliefs on the public...He's not the only one guilty of this, but he's certainly put himself in the spotlight of late, and as such, the poking-fun has been coming pretty much non-stop...I am a big fan of Craig Ferguson, and after watching the Tom Cruise video on Gawker (not all of it, I could only get thru the first few minutes), I found Craig's take on it pretty hilarious...if you haven't seen the original, take a few minutes to check it out, then Craig's will make more sense...Keep bringing the funny, Tom, it wouldn't be fun without ya!

On a bead-related note, check out this simple idea for hanging a focal bead..from John Winter

30 Rock

We've been stocking up on Netflixed shows during the WGA strike...seeing as how we've only recently started watching 30 Rock, we figured we should go back to Season 1 and get caught up...its really a very funny show...I like Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin the most, they could do the whole show together and I'd laugh thru the entire thing...seeing Elaine Stritch playing Jack Donaghy's (Baldwin) mom is perfect casting...I'm ready for Pushing Daisies, Heroes (maybe), The Office to all come back on the air now...I don't watch much regular tv and i don't watch ANY reality tv (American Gladiators AGAIN??), so mostly I surf the cable shows and settle on a new Monk or something interesting on Discovery or PBS...Gillian Anderson is the new host of Masterpiece Theatre, we ran across her new hosting gig the other day and she looks great...

Word is the new XFiles movie is being filmed right now..I dunno how to feel about that..I loved the show, but hated the movie...and its been so long, I'm not sure I am psyched about revisting Scully and Mulder...I DO have Bleak House in my Netflix queue cause Gillian was so great as Lady Dedlock..I've seen that show numerous times, but I need to see it again...I love old 1880's England...Sherlock Holmes, The Alienist, Sweeney Todd are all set at that time frame too...very interesting times...

I am sorry to see Heath Ledger has passed...very surprised, really...he was a good, decent talent in Hollywood...there are so many squirrelly, stupid people out there taking up space that its too bad when one of the good guys goes down...and he was only 28...I didn't have him in my Dead Pool this year, that's for sure...I don't think anyone did...

Treats and eats...

After doing something unpleasant, I like to do something pleasant, even if its just watching a bird in the yard catch a bug, or squawk with a foe...so today, after a trip to Austin, i treated myself to a nice sushi lunch...yum...on the way home, i thought I'd pick up a big drink from Sonic and work it all afternoon...only to discover that the Sonic in our town is shut down! It was open just the other day, with no indication that it'd be closing...I'm wondering if they'll be opening up a new one at another location...who knows...it was most confusing and a bit sad...they have good cranberry slushes...

the iPhone has a new download that I just installed and its fantastic! the icons on the page are now moveable, they wiggle when enacted and you can move them to any location, or even to another screen...plus, you can now make new icons of any website you want, and they'll be placed on your homescreen...very convenient...there are some new map features that are helpful as well...I really dig this phone, I hardly use it as a phone, its mostly for email and web surfing...but its still a hoot!

On cold and wet days, the dog just sits outside..I bring her in, but she wants to go out, and then she's too uncomfortable to lay down in the wet yard, so she just sits...must be a drag...I'll see if she wants to come back in...the blackberries seem to be ok, i'm sure they are loving the cold wet ground, sandy soil and pine straw mulch...they better grow like weeds come springtime! or else! I'm a gardener who is not afraid to transplant or remove plants that aren't working in one area...I think these guys will do great, I hope I put them in good sunny locations...everything else seems to be doing ok, even the roses in the shade are growing...they do need to be relocated to a sunnier locale, tho...

Beads beads and more beads..I'm getting thru the orders nicely and took an hour to play w/ some of the reactive glass yesterday...came out kinda mustard-y, not what I was expecting based on the rod color, but whatever...its all a learning experience, and I do like a few of the green beads I made, so I'll try again after I get some nuggets and lentils made...that's all I have left from the orders, and today feels like a nugget day...

..and then the rains came...

I got those blackberries in the ground just in time...while yesterday was sunny and cool, today is rainy and cool...yet it seems warmer today for some reason..probably the humidity in the air...regardless, the plants are in the dirt and now they are watered...I had them in a bag for a week w/ wet newsprint, but the temps were getting cold and I was afraid they'd freeze...so i put them in a pot of water to give them a drink, then I was afraid they'd drown...now they are in dirt, living la vida loca and with the tomato cages to keep the animals away, they should start growing like normal...and as always, we wait...

Its another 'indoor day' for the dog who doesn't like rain...although she'll go for a walk in pouring down freezing rain, so what the heck do i know...all I know is, she doesn't want to go outside, so she paces in the house and makes me jittery...she'll settle eventually in the living room and sleep the day away...I just have to get her thru the next hour...she's looking at me with that 'can we go for a walk' face...

The Giants and Pats in the Super Bowl...I am indifferent to both teams, I was hoping for the Cowboys/Pats, but i think the Pats will beat whomever they come across, and having beaten both the Giants and Cowboys this year, I just don't think any team could stop them..I woulda LOVED to see the Packers in the Super Bowl, but they just couldn't get it together last night...oh well, I doubt I'll watch the game, its my least favorite football game cause its SO OVERPRODUCED!!! that its like they are screaming at you the entire time...the game is secondary to all the hoopla...I think the broadcast starts at 8:00am or something wild...naw, not gonna do it...

My Christmas present is acting weird...my new Altec iPod/radio is just shutting itself off as if it's out of battery juice...the thing is, its plugged into the power strip...so something weird is going on...I can't listen to Harry Potter 7 on my iPod while making beads until i get it resolved...blast modern technology...whoops, there it just shut down...boo...

ok, I have lots to get done...hope you have a good day off and just sleep in...why not, you deserve a nap today...

Diggin in the dirt

While the weekend is sunny and cool, we are taking advantage of it...i planted my 8 thornless blackberry stems (and the dog dug up some of them last night, thanks)...I'm still amazed and happy at how soft and easy to dig this soil is...we are amending it with compost and mulch, and as that breaks down, it creates an even better soil...feed the soil, not the plant...I put the blackberry stems back together again and put tomato cages around them to keep the dog away...and the cats too...freshly dug soil just invites critters to play...
Today Brian dug out more of the grass-infested yard...we composted, turned the soil and mulched..he's taking pics right now...

I'm ready to start planting! there's even a small yellow sulphur butterfly flitting around, but we have no food/flowers for anybody right now..he needs to head down the road to the nursery and find the pansies there...amazingly my parsley is still going great guns - it looks better now than when I planted it last summer...I'm surprised it has survived the 25 degree nights, but I'm happy to see it growing so well...I also researched mulching plants and found I had buried everything wrong, so I pulled all the mulch off the plants yesterday...otherwise they'd get warm and start growing - then when a freeze hit, it'd weaken the plants...I hope I haven't ruined them, but so far everything looks ok...and its not like we couldn't replace anything, its all very new and if one plant doesn't come back, putting in a new one won't be too costly...but still, I'd like to have a garden that comes back year after year, and I just have to add something new here or there, or add flowering annuals for blasts of color...I look forward to the Spring to see what pops up outta the ground and welcome the butterflies and hummingbirds back...

Here kitty kitty..

I have to try and catch my big fat cat, Amelie..she's been suffering thru a UTI and I treated her, thought she was better, but she's not...and now she knows I'm after her, so she'd hiding...she's very smart, she could hear me open the fridge door and would hide cause she knew her medicine was stored in there - fridge door=bad medicine...I can only hope that by ignoring her for a bit, I can surprise her and snag her...but even I know better than that...this is gonna take awhile...

The beads are underway, I made lots of nailheads, twisties and other goodies yesterday...And for those of ya'll who are interested in a Round 2, I WILL be offering one...so stay tuned...get your orders ready for submission and I'll letcha know when we can start dancing...

I need to get these blackberries into the ground, they've been living in the wet newspaper i brought them home in...I think I'm going to get some play sand and keep them in there until I get the ground dug up for them...they grow in sand, that's what I dug them out of at the nursery, so I'm sure they'd appreciate some cold wet sand on their roots...

and there ya have it...another exciting day in my life...can you stand it?

Let the Idol-crazy begin...

Tonight begins the Spring season of American Idol...if you are a fan, you must be excited...We decided last year to unhook ourselves from the Borg that is Idol and its been a good decision...its not the bad auditions we can't handle, its not Simon's rudeness or even Ryan Seacrest (who I rather enjoy) but its Paula....I just can't handle her drug-induced craziness week after week...the fact that they encourage her, that they pay her for that behaviour- I realize its all about the ratings and she makes people talk and watch, but still...I don't like being a part of those ratings that encourage her to be a complete moron...if she's sick, she needs to go get help...maybe she is in pain, as she claims...I don't know and don't really care...I just can't watch her any longer...time to move on...

Time to register for Bead and Button today, in case you've forgotten...don't forget! Noon Central time is when the chaos starts...Get ready...

Thankfully this week is relatively quiet for me..i need uninterrupted time to work, appointments, meetings, errands, tasks, chores all break my rhythm...I do all those things in the mornings while the kiln is warming up...laundry comes to mind...vacuuming too...i love the Dyson, its awesome...plus the attachments are easy to use and they really work...good stuff...

Oh, i almost forgot, I picked up 8 blackberry plants yesterday...all thornless...Apache and Navaho varieties...they're outside in the cold and wet, ready to be planted...I think they'll do well in this soil since they didn't do so well in our clay soil (ie. concrete soil) in Austin...can't wait to get them in the ground!

Poor Cowboys

I kinda thought that might happen...the Cowboys haven't been playing well in their final few games and yesterday they just never put it together...and now the fans are all blaming Jessica Simpson for the loss...its funny how that backfired! Her father/manager arranged for her to date a 'popular quarterback' a la Tom Brady, and so she and Tony Romo have been spending time together - and the Cowboys started losing their games...now she's considered (by many) to be the reason the Cowboys lost...pretty ironic if ya ask me...Poor kid, her music career is dead, her movies are going straight to DVD and now she's being blamed for the downfall of the Cowboys...I hope she stays out of Dallas for awhile, or they'll drive her outta town w/ pitchforks and torches...

I hope that Green Bay and the Patriots end up in the Super Bowl...I'd watch that...if its the Giants and Chargers, ugh...I figure the Pats will take it all, you just can't stop that team, they are too good, too talented...but I enjoy seeing Favre run around...did you see their Snow Bowl the other day? That was a fun game!

I've got lots of stuff to get done, taxes, appointments, beads...I better go get started...

Room for one more order...Not any more!

9:00pm Orders are dun full up...can'ts takes no mores...Round 1 is officially closed...Please hold your orders and we'll try again for Round 2...I'm gonna be busy the next few weeks...yeehaw...

The orders have been coming in steadily, and I thank you for that! I think i have room for maybe ONE MORE order, so if you are contemplating, please email me before tomorrow...then I can get underway with this first batch and if there's enough interest, we can go for Round Two...

Mulch, dirt, weeds, compost, bulbs, neem oil, pruning shears...that's been our day today...instead of being 78, its 63 and much easier to work in the yard...I planted some aliums that I've had in the fridge for the better part of a year...some were moldy, I don't think they'll grow, but what they hey...Brian dug up lots of the grass that grew last summer when it wouldn't stop raining...

...I told him I shoulda just gone out in the rain and pulled the grass as it grew, cause it grew so fast...still, its coming out pretty easily...the ground is sandy and relatively loose, compared to the clay soil we suffered in Austin...(some parts of Austin are rock and you can't really grow anything)...part of the reason we relocated where we did was so we could dig into ground that was soft...we're amending it with compost and mulch, its already much blacker than it was last year when it was more of a red color...I can see some of the plants I cut down to the ground are already starting to grow back - they feel the dirt and compost, they are warm and mulched and wet, so of course they grow...we still have our coldest month to come, and i hear noise of possible snow/ice next week (just for a few hours) so that should shut down the plants for a bit...as long as they know to start growing in March...this will be our first year to have plants come back from the previous year, so it'll be fun to watch it all take place...it'll be March before ya knows its...

Yea! Beads are NOW ready...

Nearly 3:00pm CST...The beads seem to be READY, go take a look and see what you think...I tried to give ya'll plenty of pics in sun and shade, there are sizes listed for the nuggets and lentils, and as always if you have questions, please lemme know...If you've ordered previously, its the same drill...if not, there are instructions or shoot me an email and I'll 'splain...Hope ya'll like what's listed, I am enjoying seeing them on my desk right now...rock on!!

I had a good day at the torch yesterday as well as the past few days...The beads look good, they're cleaned and somewhat organized...I need to get them shot, etc, so look for them to be posted sometime this afternoon...

If you were curious as to what color scheme I'm doing this time, I've had it planned since November, actually...since its chilly, wintery (unless it's 70 where you are), I chose the English Tweed colors - ivory, cocoa, khaki, charcoal gray and a touch of black, with plenty of shiny goldness...I think you'll like them...And another nice new surprise are the nugget beads...nice size and shape, plenty of surface area for decorating...but I have lots of lentils as well, so maybe you'll find a combo that you enjoy...we'll see!

I was lucky enough to catch Jim and Rose at BlueMoon last night and picked up some Ivory and Light Brown glass, as well as some of these new Vetrofond rods...they are a filligrana, meaning there is a core of one color surrounded by a transparent of a different color...Jim had melted and pressed some to show how they blend into really pretty colors...i bought some of the darker greens/browns (as Brian said "Oh look, Donna colors") since I don't DO red/orange/yellow beads...its like I always say, 'I only make what I wanna wear'...if I make yellow beads and they don't sell, then I'm stuck with them...If I make organic beads and they don't sell, I'll wear them! See, I ain't so stoopid!! I may just fire up the torch this afternoon and see what happens with them..and maybe i'll go into town and pick up a few more sticks of colors...ya just never know...

Ok then, I best get to work...time to get crackin', Grommit!

I'm at the grindstone

Another day with a kiln stuffed with beads...things are going well here, if somewhat sluggish...I'm just not a morning person and trying to work at 10:00am is difficult for my creative synapses...they don't start firing until 3:00pm if I'm lucky...more like 5:00pm or 7:00pm...anyway, I've been forcing myself to just make SOMETHING- ANYTHING and once I get underway, it starts moving...having a new nugget press is also inspiring...I like the size and shape of these beads...i've already strung a few into a bracelet and have more that I wanna make...Thursday will be a full-time work day...then FRIDAY AFTERNOON I hope to POST THE BEADS for order...that gives me Friday morning to clean my Thur beads, as well as shoot pics, label, price and post them...depending on how many orders or how big they might be will depend on when I stop taking orders...If there is enough interest, I will open the orders for Round 2 and however many more there need be (I think I took at least three sets of orders for the last offering)...I will need to stock up on a few colors that I'm running low on, but I think Jim at BlueMoon has them in stock...at least I hope so...Either way, I can still take the orders while I search for these colors (they aren't exotic, I need light ivory and light brown, how difficult can those be to find?)...

I've discovered my gold friend

While digging for frits the other day, i picked up some Iris Gold nuggets that I've had for ages...thinking they were the same Iris Gold that I've been using the past few months, I pulled the stringer and got ready to use it...so, I was pleasantly surprised to take beads out of the kiln this morning and discover these Iris Gold nuggets stay GOLD on the beads...(as opposed to turning blue or bronze). I don't know why the glass is reacting this way, it all comes from the same source, but I'll take it! Now I'm on the hunt to get more...I think I need to place an order...

We are still celebrating David Bowie here, since I don't have anything else to post at the moment...

speaking of which, I AM in the middle of making beads, I'm pretty happy with what I've pulled from the kiln...most of what I made yesterday were the basic beads in my sets - dot beads, metallic dots, twisted encased, etc. etc. The next couple of days I wanna work in the fun styles, and incorporate the new nugget press I just received..do ya'll like the nuggets? I hope so...they are small enough to make a nice little bracelet and they make a nice shape for lots of surface decorations..neato...

Rock and Roll, Ziggy Stardust

There are many many various images of David Bowie, but I found a few that I've always enjoyed...I never really knew Dave in his Ziggy Stardust days, they're a little before my time, but if you dig that, by all means put some on the turntable and zone out...I like David from the 80's to present, so that's what I chose here...His guest spot on "Extras" is one of my favorites...always makes me laugh...

And with that, I leave you to enjoy...

Its Springtime!

Yes, it was 78 here yesterday and while we wanted to work in the yard some more, we both decided it was TOO HOT to even attempt it...we like our winters to be mild, like in the 50's when we can really get to work and not wilt in the sun...but alas, we had to turn on the A/C and stay outta the heat...it makes me worry for what this summer might bring...typically warm winters mean crazy-ass hot summers...

The stringer is pulled, the twisties are ready, the rods are waiting...I had to dig around for some frits, but I think I have what I need...now I just need time...I'm working on carving out large stretchs of time to work..maybe some long evenings...I will letcha know when I'll be posting, once I get underway and know how things are going...rock on...

Tina! Come get some ham!

So, a few years ago we saw a special showing of Napoleon Dynamite that Alamo Drafthouse was showing...there was a setup where you could get a 'glamour shot', the actor who plays Pedro was there (he signed our "Vote for Pedro" shirt), there was a cake, costume contest and we ate tater tots and corn dogs...it was awesomely fun...

So, Alamo is bringing in Uncle Rico this time, and has an entire grouping of food (see the menu here)...We have our tix in hand and think its gonna be great! Ironically, over the holidays, I was watching a rerun of one of my fave 'bad' movies - Running Scared - and there was Uncle Rico as one of the upstart young cops...cool!

i'm eating my frosted mini-wheats directly from my cereal bowl, but i haven't poured the milk on them...i'm treating them like a snack instead of breakfast...but they are mighty tasty...

i'm pulling stringer, making twisties and gathering up other treats...i'm lookin' forward to gettin' underway...yeehaw...

Top 10 Lists of the Year

I've been reading various Top 10 lists, as they always come out at the end of a year...top 10 songs, albums, movies, restaurants, people who were Googled the most, top vacation destinations...many of the lists I can't argue with one way or another cause I don't listen to the latest Justin Timberlake release and I don't know who some of these new artists are...so I just shrug and move on...

But I've been really perturbed by the Top 10 Movies of the Year lists that I've been seeing..."Superbad" as a Top 10 movie? All the funny bits were in the trailer...Very few, if any, lists have Sweeney Todd in their top 10...I'd rather watch that movie 10 times over before watching Superbad again...I thought 40-Yr Old Virgin was hilarious, but have no love for Superbad...I guess its a 'guy thing'...

I have loads of stuff to do, and Clementine keeps jumping up here for something...attention I guess...I wish she could talk...I need to find out what is wrong in her world and fix it so she can go take a nap...

Come On Down!

I don't have anything to blog about today, but I did run across this collection of fun Price Is Right videos and thought you might enjoy them too...I think my fave is the last one, the attack of the killer appliances...although the dude guessing the price of the car is pretty awesome too...

Happy New Year!

Its a gorgeous day here, sunny and chilly, just like we like them...Brian managed a great feat a few seconds ago - he caught the black kitten and has reunited it in his office with the white kitten...that's two down, and now just the Mama Calico to capture...whew...that little black kitty is very friendly, he will walk right past you w/out fear...I think he'll make someone a wonderful pet...I'm just glad they are off the streets...

Neighbors were setting of firecrackers as they do down here for New Years...I've never gotten used to that, up north its too cold and snowy, but down here they do it...and its annoying and loud...and its been so dry and windy its rather dangerous...

I went to bed before midnight, what a party animal I am...I hope I didn't have anything to do in 2007 cause if I did, well, too late! I have to file my sales tax in a few days that's always fun, and get my taxes ready for the IRS...I'm gonna try to be quicker this year...

HOpe your first day of 2008 is a good one...!
