an updated pic of my workspace. i'm setup to work
on encased florals today. the stringers are stored in ice cube trays
used for sport drinks. |

my favorite new addition to the studio - a tv/dvd/vcr
combo. Now I can play my favorite bead videos and dvds and never
leave my chair. pretty decadent, actually... |

ah yes, for anyone questioning if i have a kiln
(my last pics didn't show one), yes and here it is. an AF99 from
Arrow Springs. I've had it for a long while now, it sits behind
me while I work and keeps my back warm in the winter. |

a wall of finished necklaces. I take these with
me to shows and hang them from the EZ-UP tent hardware. the dowels
are cocobolo wood and are darkened up using simple olive oil. exotic!
the spinner on the end twirls when the A/C and fan run - its like
being in a bird cage with shiny objects spinning...i swear i was
a myna bird in another life... |
|

a closeup of the pic next door -->, here's my
collection of books and folders from various classes. my braintrust. |

and this pic shows that I like Keeping Austin Weird
and playing jazz on the radio while working. Chris Botti, Steely
Dan and Acoustic Alchemy. Oh, see the WaterPik in the corner - useful
for cleaning out those hollow beads...! |
|

hmm...i wonder what that Smoking Alien from the
X-Files is hiding under those towels? |

Ah ha! Its the glass. I have to keep it under cover
to keep the cat hair and dust off of it. Its about 80% effective
- but I still clean my rods before storing them and then again before
using them. |

my full bead display, this is what customers see
who come over to shop (thanks Kim, Julie, Bonnie, Donna(s) and et
al). spacers are in the tackle box in front.

the left side of the display. I have frogs who need
homes! |

the right side of the display. I have a collection
of floral beads going, oh yeah... |
