studio 2004 click on pics for closeups

We've moved the studio yet again, but I like it even MORE this time around! Click here to see the previous 2003 setup.

The computer has been moved into the studio so I can ship, track and email more efficiently. It looks kinda 'industrial', but I like it just fine. The speakers (on top of the monitor) let me play our jazz MP3's all day w/out commericals...hooray!

Yoda is making sure Darth Vader doesn't pay me a surprise visit...

I now have room for at least 3 people to torch, possibly a 4th at the end of the table - The room is setup for class, with 2 Minor burners, graphite slabs, a chili pepper kiln, the OG-15 generator and of course the Bead Fairy watching over eveything...A close up of the table shows everything neat and tidy...

This is the driver's seat - notice I don't have backerboard yet...I keep meaning to get stainless to cover my desk, but even if it burns, its not a big deal, the desk was cheap. Got my remote control, my CBS a few million mandrels ready to go and those leather armrests from BlueMoon Glassworks. Very nice!

This is the view I see everyday from my cockpit...Ready to watch beadmaking videos or DVD's, its further away than it used to be, but now everyone at the table can watch too..The tools on the wall need to be relocated close to me, but I haven't gotten around to that yet...

I still listen to the radio and CD's, here's my 'entertainment center'. I'm working on covering these ugly industrial wood panels with fun business cards and colorful glass postcards. The Bugs bumpersticker came from Atlanta and a cat bead exchange where I donated a bead for auction to help the homeless kitties in Atlanta. I was glad to help, but really wanted the cute sticker too!

A close up of my frit and pixie dust collection...and some stringers that don't fit on my desk...the rods on the tabletop are new dichro strips I haven't yet played with...My book collection is in the back corner keeping the wall up.

The glass bin hasn't moved, its in the same location with the same Alien head keeping an eye on Yoda. Perhaps they knew each other on Tatooine or Degobah...I should ask them...
